All,

PAI is trying to get corporate sponsorship for the event. Secretary (Manoj) is already in talks with some corporates. If someone can get any positive references, then please do share by getting in touch.

Fabulous PG Fest by PAI. :D :D Great flying, great Camraderie, great fun. Couldn't have asked for more.

Hats off to Manoj, Pendu, Deepak, Senthil, Abhinandan, Tarun,Anand, Abhijeet, Pendu's Indus team, and so many more who worked selflessly to make the fest a grand success.

What a sight it was to see more than 40 pilots flying high in the air on the last day. :P :D :D Waiting for pics to be put up by all our photographer pilots :) ;)

The greatest success of the PG Fest was undoubtedly the selfless, quick and decisive response by the pilots at the fest to assist the tandem pilot of a local school( not a participant in the fest) who crashed at the site, after the fest events were over on 7th late evening, and all the pilots had packed and were leaving the site.

The participants rushed to help the injured pilot. Our pilot and medic expert Tarun gave him first aid and stabilised him, and several of our pilots including, Manoj, Deepak, Pendu, Senthil, and others put him on a stretcher and carried him to the ambulance, arranged by PAI for the fest, and shifted him to the local hospital for prompt medical attention. We understand that the injured tandem pilot is recovering well, thanks to the great job by the participants and organisors of the fest. This selfless act of our pilots deserves the highest level of praise.

Great job, guys. Keep up the good work. :D :D All in all this was a great fest, and we all look forward to many more in the years to come.

Thanks to all the big hearted pg pilots whose dedication and contributions made this dream come true for the paragliding community across the country :D . Those who decided to stand aloof lost out on the opportunity to show solidarity for our sport, hope they join in next time.
